Wspolmieszkancy domu, niezadowoleni z panujacych tam warunkow, usiluja wciagnac norwida do swoich poczynan. On jednak nie angazuje sie poswiecajac swoj czas pisaniu, malowaniu. Umiera 23 maja 1883 roku.

The last years of the life of Cyprian Kamil Norwid, great Polish 19th Century Poet, were spent at an almshouse for Polish emigres in Ivry near Paris; his days filled with reading, writing, painting and drawing.
