Item Description

The last wish of the great Polish pianist and Prime Minister was to be buried in free Poland. Years later when Poland regained freedom, the coffin of Ignacy Paderewski is transferred from Arlington Cementary in USA to St. John`s Cathedral in Warsaw. This very interesting documentary also includes: President Bush`s White House meeting with Polish Americans on June 26, 1992, a last tribute in Poznan, and President Bush and Walesa`s meeting with Poles at Castle Square in Warsaw on July 5, 1992.

Ostatnia droga wielkiego polskiego pianisty i pierwszego premiera w wolnej Polsce, Ignacego Paderewskiego po latach spoczynku na Cmentarzu Arlington zostaly przeniesione do Katedry sw. Jana w Warszawie. Trescia kasety sa z tym zwiazane uroczystosci, spotkanie Prezydentow Busha i Walesy z ludnoscia Warszawy na Placu Zamkowym.
