Dramat historyczny. Adaptacja eposu Elizy Orzeszkowej. Grodzienszczyzna, lata osiemdziesiate ubieglego wieku. Mimo pamieci o wspolnej walce w An epic series based on a novel by Eliza Orzeszkowa. A historical love story set in the Grodno area after the January 1863 uprising.

Powstaniu Styczniowym pomiedzy szlachta z dworu w Korczynie a mieszkancami zascianka trudno doszukac sie przyjazni. Mur niecheci i wzajemnych pretensji miedzy dwoma rodami burza Justyna i Jan Bohatyrowicz. Swoja postawa przekonuja zwasnione strony do wejscia na droge zgody i pojednania.
