Item Description
A priest, investigating demonic possession among the nuns, in a 17th century Polish convent, becomes the object of desire of the Mother Superior. A film about love, a story of morbid passion bringing together the priest-exorcist and the demon-possessed nun. Based on actual events at Loudun, a powerful allegory of Good vs. Evil, Chasitity vs. Eroticism.
Smolenczyzna, wiek XVII. W klasztorze zakonnice i ich przeorysze, Matke Joanne opetaly demony. Mlody ksiadz Suryn przyjezdza by czynic egzorcyzmy, lecz i on jest bezsilny. Wszystkie proby oswobodzenia nie udaja sie, a dodatkowo jemu samemu udzielaja sie dziwne niepokoje i rozsterki. Zarowno on jak i Matka Joanna nie chca i nie moga przyznac sie do milosci.
