Item Description

The action of the film is set in 1079, the last year of Boleslaus the Bold`s rule. This is a story of conflict between the King and Bishop of Cracov. First and foremost, a portrayal of two powerful adversaries with strong personalities and unflexible characters.

Film historyczny. Druga polowa XI wieku. Konflikt krola Boleslawa z moznowladcami i biskupem Stanislawem. Przeciwko krolowi staje nawet krolowa. Osamotniony Boleslaw wydaje wyrok smierci na Stanislawa. Pokonany krol z garstka rycerzy opuszcza Krakow i przedziera sie na Wegry.
